New MacBook Pro models released months ago, no one noticed

With the fervor surrounding the rumored MacBook Pro refresh, Apple Inquisition was stunned today to learn that the update actually happened several months ago.
As a company, Apple is known for their secrecy when it comes to new products and this is likely why, when Apple updated its MacBook Pro lineup, no one noticed. A teary-eyed Jonathan Ive addressed the media this morning:
There really were a number of revolutionary changes made to the MacBook Pro that fundamentally change the way people will interact with computers. For instance, we replaced the SDHC card slot with an SDXC reader. The user experience is no longer constrained by the limitations of the SDHC format.
Additionally, the entry-level 13-inch MacBook Pro received a huge update internally. The processor was bumped up from the antiquated 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo to the incredible 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo. The creativity of the user is no longer bound by the chains of the 2.4GHz processor. I have set them free.
I worked really hard on this stuff, you guys.
The new MacBook Pro models are available now, and have been for some time. No word on Jony Ive’s future with Apple Inc.
